Venesta's much-loved Solid Surface vanity units were specified by Creed-Miles for a commercial toilet area refurbishment project at Air Charter Service.
The project
The Air Charter Service is one of the largest aircraft charter companies in the world, offering charters in the private, group and cargo sectors as well as onboard carriers, holiday packages and concierge services.
Founded back in 1990 and now operating out of 730 offices across 6 continents, Air Charter Service operate an impressive 25,000 flights per year.
The challenge
We worked with Workplace Interior specialists, Creed-Miles, to specify fit-for-purpose Venesta vanity units to meet the client’s design brief. Creed-Miles required stylish yet equally as durable vanity units for a commercial toilet area refurbishment project at Air Charter Service.
Hardwearing and easy to clean vanity tops would mean the units would look sleek for years to come, keeping the standards of commercial washrooms high. As well as looking great and being durable, the vanity units specified also needed to be simple and quick to install to allow Creed-Miles to complete works in good time, so that the new facilities could open on the scheduled date.
The solution
Our much-loved Solid Surface vanity units were specified for the new commercial washroom areas at Air Charter Service. The blend of acrylic polymer minerals with integral moulded-in-reinforcements provides impact and thermal shock resistance, making it an ideal vanity top material for high-traffic areas such as these. Solid Surface is guaranteed to withstand the demands of washrooms being used around the clock.
Our Solid Surface vanity units can be manufactured up to 3m in length, giving the client maximum design flexibility in their new washrooms, and providing end users with ample space in the facilities.
To complete the design of the modern vanity units, Solid Grade Laminate (SGL) underframes and panels were specified. Not only is SGL totally impervious to water, therefore ideal for wet environments, but is also impact, heat and scratch resistant so will look just as great after years of use as they did when first installed.
The client had 12 Solid Surface colours to choose from for their washroom vanity units, opting for our clean and minimal ‘Everest’ finish. To complement the white tops, the SGL underframes and panels were specified in our popular ‘Cloud’ laminate finish. The modern design of the vanity units fit perfectly with the striking décor of the new washroom facilities and we’re thrilled we were able to deliver on the design brief.
