Air-open underlay for Grade 1 listed manor house

Air-open underlay for Grade 1 listed manor house

Klober has provided their Permo® air open underlay for Loseley House; a Grade 1-listed Elizabethan manor house in Guildford. Philips Chartered Surveyors were responsible for a design specification to re-roof the property.

Philip Acton, partner at Phillps, said: "The whole house was re-roofed, with Klober’s air-open underlay, Permo® air, chosen because of its high vapour permeability. The house and gardens are of immense architectural interest and require products of the highest performance. With a water vapour resistance of 0.03 MN/sg, Permo air will ensure that the entire roof can breathe effectively”.
