Airius Designer Series shortlisted at this year’s Energy Awards 2014

Global expert in thermal destratification, Airius, is delighted to announce its Designer Series has been shortlisted at this year’s Energy Awards 2014.

The Energy Awards, which is taking place on the 2nd December at the London Hilton, aims to identify the achievement of companies cutting emissions and products that are leading the way in innovative energy use. Airius’ Designer Series has been shortlisted for ‘Energy Efficient Technology of the Year’ - the category for new products that have the potential to significantly reduce energy use within a building.

Airius’ market leading Designer Series works in a simple manner but has a profound impact, significantly reducing energy bills, delivering typical savings of 20 – 50 per cent for buildings with a ceiling height greater than 2.5 metres, utilising the proven benefits of destratification. The custom made Designer series is enclosed in a cylindrical housing and can be painted to match any colour code, making it the ideal choice for architecturally sensitive installations.

Managing Director of Airius, Stephen Bridges, comments, “Through working in partnership with our clients and listening to the industry, we realised there was a significant gap in the market for a highly customisable and aesthetically pleasing fan, that still offers considerable energy savings.
This is not the first time Airius’ ground breaking technology has been shortlisted for an award. In April of this year Airius pleasingly won the ‘Innovation in Environmental Technology Award’ at the prestigious Environment & Energy Award for their destratification fan systems.

Airius has helped hundreds of businesses, from SMEs to major Blue Chip companies, to make real reductions in their energy usage and carbon emissions with over 80,000 destratification units sold worldwide. With a customer portfolio ranging from British Airways to John Lewis, Airius has experienced an impressive growth over the past year.
