Genesis, Venesta's popular education toilet cubicles were specified in our cool and calm Duck Egg and Suede finishes, which in turn has created a bright and fresh washroom area.
The project
South East London-based Alexander McLeod Primary is a school where students model the high expectations and standards that are promoted at all times.
The school aims to create an environment where all children can grow and flourish, and ensures children are taught the importance of promoting core values that include resilience, respect and perseverance.
The challenge
During a recent renovation project, attention was turned to the student washroom facilities. The existing toilet cubicles and vanity units were antiquated and hard for the facilities team to maintain, resulting in an uninviting space for the students to retreat to.
We worked with builders A F Starr to ensure fit-for-purpose education washroom systems were specified for the younger year’s children. There was a requirement for washroom solutions that would be easy to clean and maintain whilst giving the staff the ability to supervise younger children using the facilities, where necessary.
The solution
Genesis, our popular education toilet cubicles were specified in our cool and calm Duck Egg and Suede finishes, which in turn has created a bright and fresh washroom area.
The cubicles were specified in Solid Grade Laminate (SGL). SGL is impervious to water, scratch proof, and its smooth surface will allow the school to uphold strict cleaning regimes to keep the school toilets sanitary.
With 1300mm high cubicle doors and shaped partitions, staff will be able to supervise students when required. The anti-finger trap hinges and emergency release indicator bolts that come as standard, made Genesis an ideal cubicle choice.
Alexander McLeod Primary School also opted for complementing SGL vanity units in matching colours. With its hardwearing and durable properties, SGL guarantees long-lasting washroom systems in busy environments such as schools.
