We’re marking a pair of new contract announcements for our A-rated facades as we head further into 2026, with two of our aluminium rainscreen cladding systems secured and on site.
These contracts further demonstrate the flexibility and scope of our award-winning rainscreen cladding systems and show how our metal facade ranges are perfectly suited to both the new build and refurbishment markets.
RAF Wyton, Cambridgeshire: Our customised expanded Mesh.covering rainscreen cladding will feature on this UK Strategic Command Station and home to the National Centre for Geospatial Intelligence.
It will feature our A2 rated Mesh.covering in a vertical format in three tones of grey, with the shades graduating in lightness from the ground to skyline. The design of the framed mesh panels was substantiated by Aliva’s engineering team.
We are working in partnership with contractor Roofdec, architect Frank Shaw and main contractor Galliford Try on this project.
New Century House, Manchester:
The refurbishment of this 1960s residential building will see our A1 rated, BBA certified anodised bronze Alu.covering® rainscreen cladding used to modernise its aesthetic.
We are delighted to be working with client Fill Metallbau on this project that features our system that has been customised with mitred cuts to suit intricate detailing on the building, which faces Parsonage Gardens in the heart of the city and backs on to the River Irwell facing the Lowry Hotel.
Steve Darlington, Aliva UK’s Technical Manager Facade Systems, said: “Our A rated, award-winning rainscreen cladding systems in expanded mesh and anodised aluminium continue to make their mark on the built environment. Our systems are delivering equally on architectural flair and meeting design intent without compromise on stunning projects to be part of as we head further into 2026 with RAF Wyton and New Century House set to showcase our solutions beautifully.”
