Alu-Timber and their approved fabricator, Alliance Design Limited, worked on a new build school in Bristol which replaced an existing school building. South Gloucestershire Council feel this project is one of excellent architectural design and they expressed how very proud they are of the build due to the excellent standard of workmanship.

A letter to all sub-contractors stated: “Our client, South Gloucestershire Council, expressed their overwhelming satisfaction with the project and stated that it was a huge achievement to complete the building to the original programme date and that it was the best workmanship they had witnessed in over 30 years. This is a massive compliment to BAM and, more importantly, to all the sub-contractors involved in the project”.

Alu-Timber, from The Parkside Group Ltd., was specified due to the flexibility it offers. All profiles are kept in stock which means challenging site deadlines can always be met. The extensive range of profiles create options for large glazed framing areas which integrate seamlessly with Alu-Timber windows and doors. The complete Alu-Timber range includes casement, tilt & turn windows, open-in and open-out doors, framing and curtain walling.

All Alu-Timber approved fabricators are required to have the technical expertise to attend pre-site meetings and provide detailing. Alliance Design liaised closely with the specifiers to provide design advice and detailing which ensured the project ran smoothly and met site deadlines.
