aluplast has launched aluskin aluminium skins, available on their contemporary SquareLine Ideal 4000 and Lift-and-Slide PVC-U systems.

The system delivers flexibility to deliver an external aluminium surface finish using standard PVC-U machinery and standard processes. aluskin uses a highly innovative click-and-fix system and is applied only after the manufacture of frames so that they can be prepped and welded as a standard PVC-U product.

This delivers multiple benefits, including an energy efficient window system, all of the thermal efficiencies that you would get from a standard PVC-U product, and lower manufacturing costs compared to a traditional aluminium system, while also achieving far lower U-values.

Tested to Part Q, PAS24 and Secured by Design Specifications, aluskin delivers the structural integrity of a proven PVC-U welded product and features five thermally efficient chambers, easily achieveing a WER A+, rating.
