Amber Valley Stone completed the façade for Main contractor Eric Wright Construction on the 54,500 ft² headquarters on Edward Street in Stockport, housing around 400 employees over four storeys.

The facility combines Stockport Homes’ previous services, which centred on managing social housing stock, local communities, preventing homelessness and helping to transform lives for local residents.

The new central location improves accessibility for customers and maximises joined up working and technology.

Designed by AEW architects, the Grade A facility comprises a basement car park with 61 spaces, along with meeting and community rooms and coffee shop that are also for use by local residents.

The Architectural Façade incorporates Spanish dolomite aggregates along that gives the building a ‘Wow’ factor when the sun casts its eye over the elevations to create a true sparkle over the former Lamborghini factory site.
