An iconic new bus station for the city of Gloucester

Vincent Timber provide their contemporary Western Red Cedar for Gloucester's new bus station.

Architect Mathew Mayes says “The concept for the new bus station, is to provide an iconic building for the city. The structural approach to the bus station is integral to the concept of the design. The Aerofoil roof, that spans across the new building in the bus bay areas, has been the main driver for the design. A number of sustainable elements have been incorporated into the design.”

When properly finished and maintained, Western Red Cedar will deliver decades of trouble free service. For more than a century architects and builders around the world have enhanced their projects with this beautiful and durable material.
