Ancon Building Products is joining other leading manufacturers of sustainable, energy-efficient construction solutions and showcasing its range at Ecobuild 2012.
Stand number N1110 will address the important issue of heat loss through thermal bridging. It will feature Ancons extensive range of low thermal conductivity cavity wall ties, which includes the unique basalt-fibre TeploTie. Also on display will be a range of Thermal Breaks for use at other locations where the insulated building envelope is interrupted, such as balconies and brickwork support brackets. Each Ancon product being exhibited is an innovative, yet cost-effective and practical, means of improving the thermal performance of a structure.
Ancon will be joined on stand N1110 by Ibstock, the UKs leading brick manufacturer. This Ancon-Ibstock alliance, specifically for Ecobuild 2012, brings together two areas of expertise from within the masonry sector. Brick is the UKs most popular cladding material by some margin, and this collaboration provides visitors with an opportunity to discuss project performance and aesthetics on a single exhibition stand.
Many of Ancon's high integrity fixings are engineered from stainless steel which has a lower thermal conductivity than other metals and is 100% recyclable at the end of a long, maintenance-free service life. Brick also offers exceptional sustainability credentials including a 150 year life, combined with thermal mass and cost benefits over other building systems.
