Denfind Stone
Guillotined Stone is Denfind Stone's most versatile stone product.
It is available in a variety of depths and can be used to create both the dry stone effect and pointed with mortar finishes as illustrated.
They recommend building the stone up against either a breeze block skin or using a cavity space saver system such as Surecav.
To ensure a high quality finish they can provide the client or stonemason with external corners. These have a guillotined face with a right-angled edge to form a neat finish on the build.
Ingoes can also be supplied for around doors and window facings, and are particularly recommended for dry effect projects. These are similar to the external corners, but come with a sawn back to provide an exact finish around the door and window frames.
Guillotined Stone can be cut to depths of 100mm-200mm, with 140mm being the standard depth. All their stone comes in random lengths (up to 350mm) and random heights (up to 150mm). They can supply larger ‘riser’ stones, at an additional cost, to be included in the mix if desired.
