Architectural solutions specialist Aliva UK’s latest Bristol project is a facade masterclass in the versatility and flair possible with a brick slip system.
Aliva is proud to be working with the UK’s leading student accommodation provider in the UK, Unite Students, on its latest Purpose Built Student Accommodation development in the city.
Avon Point is a £75million 623 bed development, located in Feeder Road, Bristol, in the heart of one of the UK’s largest regeneration areas and includes a 5 storey, part 7, part 8 and part 14 storey development.
Aliva has supplied 7,000sqm of its A1 fire rated, Kiwa UK certified slips for Avon Point in 15mm red multi and 9mm black, to create the suite of statement accent features on the flagship project.
• Its AlivaBrick slip system has created grand, sweeping brick slip archways crowned with soldier bonds, taking the eye from ground to sky.
• Those signature archways sit alongside a mix of intricate laddering details with a shadow effect created from the black slips, complemented by recesses, step outs and projecting banding.
Avon Point represents a masterclass on the scale and versatility of the AlivaBrick slip system to meet architectural design intent, creating a statement aesthetic that respects the city’s heritage and Bristol Byzantine architectural features.
Aliva is delighted to be working with valued partners on Avon Point, architect Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson, main contractor RG Group and installer PIC Construction Group.
