Architectural mesh for London School of Economics

Plymouth PTFE-Coated Glass Fibre Fabric from The Locker Group has been installed at London School of Economics. A disused courtyard was transformed into an elegant airy atrium by the installation of this tensile conic roof. All components including the rigged composite beams were brought to site in components small enough to pass through the existing 3rd floor windows.

The Plymouth PTFE-Coated Glass Fibre Fabric was specified for its fire resistance, longevity and translucency. The cones all feature temperature-actuated ventilating skylights.
