Architecture and the Vision of Nature

Cembrit has released the fourth edition of its inspirational architectural journal - 91°. Designed to inform and entertain, this issue of 91° takes a glimpse into the future by exploring how aspects of nature are being incorporated into modern architecture to create an exciting new trend in building design.

“The past three issues of 91° have proved popular with architects which has resulted in the publication winning a coveted Red Dot Design Award earlier this year, as well as a nomination for the Designpreis Deutschland 2010,” says Ged Ferris, Marketing Manager at Cembrit. “The journal likes to explore recent trends from many different perspectives, and also offers architects a platform to give their thoughts on industry issues – it’s proved a popular blend.”

Cembrit has also embraced nature in architecture by creating a new range of fibre-cement cladding boards – URBANNATURE. This new range of four cladding products, Fusion, True, Edge and Metro, is available in 49 colour options and is ideal for a wide variety of building projects in all types of environment. This new range complements the popular Cembonit through coloured cladding board, a tried and tested product for education projects.

Using expertise built up over 80 years, Cembrit offers a wide range of corrugated sheets, cladding panels and building boards. Quality levels at Group factories are rigorously maintained to the high standards required by ISO 9001. Furthermore the company operates an environmental management system to ISO 14001:1996.
