Broxap supplies art deco canopy for opulent Beaumont Hotel, London.
The Beaumont Hotel opened in London in 2014 and featured at the entrance to the hotel is Broxap’s art deco canopy, which offers an opulent welcoming ambience to people arriving at the hotel entrance by day and by night.
Working with Anglian Architects, Broxap created this modern take on a traditional canopy yet kept in line with the art deco look and feel of the hotel.
The canopy was constructed from fabricated ‘T’ section support arms and glazing support bars, with folded aluminium Fascia to the perimeter including decorative frieze and patent aluminium glazing bars.
There is a standing seam roof to the top of the canopy complete with standing seam vertical zinc cladding to the rear section with a soft wood framing and a 20mm vent slot with vermin mesh.
The underside has 11.5mm laminated Vanceva glass panels with an opaque finish.
Guttering is stainless steel and integral lighting was fitted by others on site.
