The ASF 5009 bollard is a mitred top stainless steel bollard with a spiralled, descending visibility band. This bollard was chosen for an urban scheme in Salford.

Part of the scheme included the area around the train station. The bollards were required to offer security, pavement protection and some level of signage and civic identity.

ASF took the standard visibility bands and laser-profiled the wording into them, finishing them powder coated in a contrasting colour.
