ASF supplied stainless steel street furniture as part of the Salford Quays refurbishment.

They were asked to provide a cast iron wall top guardrail to run along the old industrial walling next to the Manchester Shipping Canal.

Due to it’s thick but decorative nature, the Balmoral Short Panel Post was chosen as the style ties into the era of when the canal was originally built.

The vertical infill panels were manufactured from over sized tubing to create an imposing yet stylish post and panel system. Made from 100% recycled cast iron, the lifespan of these posts could reach over a hundred years.
