The Bradford Metropolitan Council specified ASF to design and install handrails for the Bradford Library steps.

The popular ASF 5006 Handrails are simple yet stylish and decorative. They incorporate 114mm diameter posts, and a mitred top that work well with the wide nature of the library steps.

Both single and double handrails were made for the three areas of the stairway.

The main area has a mounted double handrail which has been wrapped at the top and bottom, and polished back to make a continuous unit. The side, and wall areas have a mounted single post following the same techniques and finishes.
