ASSA ABLOY Security Doors, part of ASSA ABLOY UK, has successfully integrated its Powershield and Safeguard brands into Powershields longstanding site in Lisburn, simplifying and streamlining its business model.
ASSA ABLOY Security Doors united the two brands in 2010, to create a new specialist business unit, offering Powershield steel doors and Safeguard high security timber doorsets from a single point of contact. That business unit has now made the move to operate from a single site.
Combining resources, skills and experience to offer its customers a more comprehensive choice, each customer service team originally remained at its own site during the transition, minimising support and service disruption.
Tina Hughan, Head of Marketing for ASSA ABLOY UK, said: Following the formation of ASSA ABLOY Security Doors in 2010, a decision was made to ensure continuing reliable support to our customers, by allowing both brands to remain at their original site.
Since then, ASSA ABLOY Security Doors has flourished, offering a comprehensive and advanced range of independently-certified security and blast doors from one point of contact. ASSA ABLOY Security Doors now has the infrastructure in place, with the combination of both Powershield and Safeguards resources, skills and experience, to integrate Safeguard into the Lisburn site without any disruption to our quality customer service.
The move signifies the natural progression of ASSA ABLOY Security Doors as a comprehensive business unit, and we are looking forward to working closely together to deliver our specialised security doors.
