Ramp down to underground parking at new built development

A a href="www.amaresearch.co.uk" target="_blank">snow and ice melting system was required for this steep ramp down to an underground parking area to make sure the residents have safe access all year round.

Technical info:
HDS designed and installed 2 x 1.2metre wide heated tracks on this 36 meter long ramp, to make sure the residents have safe access to the basement garage/ parking area.

Using heated tracks compared to heating the full width of the driveway meant we could keep the power consumption and also the running cost to a minimum.

The system will be controlled by a HDS fully automatic ice and snow melting control using 2 ground moisture sensors and one air temperature sensor.
