Automatic logistics system for Lloyd Germany

Automatic logistics system for Lloyd Germany

GEBHARDT supplied men’s shoes manufacturers, Lloyd Germany, with a logistics system to feed the storage areas and supply parts to production.

In the automated small-parts storage (miniload), each storage bin must be filled with up to two containers on top of each other.

For each of the 400 last carriers, occupation and the location reported to the WCS and the expected return time is also organised. Approx. 18,000 - 20,000 latest are managed in storage.

The system implemented by GEBHARDT reached the required targets in all respects and fully justified the investment.
