The Bahrain Financial Harbour, which is due to be entirely completed in 2009, was supplied with its raised access flooring by Kingspan in August 2007.
The Bahrain Financial Harbour is an incorporated financial community on leading seafront property in Manama, with a varied range of commercial, residential and leisure components. This has been designed to address every need of the financial services sector. It will have 30 individual development units, spreading over 380,000m2 of reclaimed land, offering office, residential, retail, dining and leisure space.
Kingspan Access Floors supplied 17,000m2 of RG3 panels and 1,000m2 of FDEB heavy grade flooring to the project. The RG panels were covered with carpet tiles in the majority of offices and high quality finishes such as marble and wood were supplied to public and circulation areas.
The FDEB panel, being a heavy-grade loose lay system with a vinyl-coated panel, was used in all areas where computers were present.
Both Kingspan Access flooring systems share a single pedestal design, to ease specification and future maintenance for the client.
Kingspan Access Floors Ltd was honoured to be part of this prestigious project, which is one of the first large-scale investments in the Bahraini capital, Manama.
