Bailey Streetscene were approached with regards to supplying a complete external street furniture package to be incorporated into the surrounding Bradford city centre landscape. The client required a street furniture solution which would fit with the high quality feel and aesthetic of the overall scheme. This required a great deal of design input form Bailey Streetscene in the early consultation stages.

After initial discussions, Stainless steel and Iroko timber seats and benches were selected to meet the client’s need for a high quality finish as Iroko is a striking timber which is durable and long lasting. A stylish selection of stainless steel litter bins, cycle stands and bollards were also chosen to complement the overall scheme. Design detail, as built drawings and material samples to aid the selection process were provided by Bailey Streetscene for approval by the client at this stage.

The installation of the street furniture package was completed over two phases to adhere to agreed deadlines of the overall project. Through regular communication with the client, Bailey Streetscene were able to seamlessly co-ordinate their deliveries and installations alongside other contractors. This ensured that all site works carried out at this busy city centre site were completed in a safe, conscientious and timely manner.
