Drybase Lime Inhibitor is a water-based surface treatment to reduce free lime-leaching from concrete. It keeps free lime locked in to prevent sump clogs and unsightly lime stains. Suitable for Type C basement waterproofing systems, Drybase Lime Inhibitor helps to avoid drainage system obstruction as specified in BS 8102.

Drybase Lime Inhibitor is water-based and non-hazardous for easy and risk-free application. They recommend Lime Inhibitor’s use with all newly installed Type C basement waterproofing systems. Specify Drybase Lime Inhibitor for new concrete structures to contribute towards the obstruction prevention requirements of BS 8102. In laboratory testing, Drybase Lime Inhibitor significantly reduced the amount of free lime released from a 3:1 sand: cement mortar block.
