Type of works: Junckers has completed three projects for the 2008 Olympics at the Beijing games.
Junckers has completed three projects for this year’s Beijing Olympics, at the Beijing Sports University complex. The total area measures 12,000m2, consisting of two very large sports halls and a smaller hall which will be used for gymnastics. One of the halls is over 6,000m2 which is the biggest Junckers continuous sports hall in the world. The other two are 4,500m2 and 1,500m2 in size.
The halls have been laid with Junckers 22mm solid beech flooring. Junckers Sports Flooring is a very strong brand in China, where the company has had a presence for many years.
Junckers is also involved in the sports floors for the London 2012 Olympics, and has already supplied flooring for several of the training arenas.
