The new Riverside Resource Recovery Facility is the largest project of its kind in the UK. Waste from Central London will be brought in by barge along the River Thames as well as by road and the creation of this pioneering facility is expected to make a significant contribution to Londons landfill diversion targets. The buildings design demonstrates the trend away from the bleak industrial structures of the past towards aesthetically pleasing buildings that complement the local environment.
Fixfast helped with the creation of the distinctive swoosh by providing unique powder-coated rivets to fix the curved and coloured panels to the face of the composite skin.
