Working alongside interior designer Ozlem Ipek, Helo installed a bespoke sauna and steam room for a client in Highgate.

The brief was to create a compact sauna and steam room which would complement the client’s existing home bathroom.

Specialist contractor All Done Design was commissioned to carry out full refurbishment on the property and worked with Helo to integrate the two units into the overall design of the bathroom areas.

The steam room has an all glass fascia and frameless door which creates a feeling of space and light. The contrasting timber sauna was manufactured from abachi and dark thermos treated aspen.

Free standing benches were installed in the steam room to continue the monochromatic theme with continuous black and white circular tiling.

Draws were installed at the base of the sauna to make the most of the space between the client’s raised bathing area and home gym.

Helo’s RING sauna heater provides a focal point and its irregular natural stones allow heat to radiate evenly and rapidly throughout the sauna in every direction.
