Berristow Lane is a commercial park that provides office and industrial space for businesses across several sectors and is at the heart of the South Normanton economy.
To increase active commuting opportunities to the estate, their team was commissioned to deliver a premium bike shelter to meet the needs of the park’s cyclists.
The Solution
After discussions with the client and their architects, a bespoke Amazon Eco Semi Vertical Cycle Shelter was identified as the optimal product for meeting their needs.
The shelter was installed with their premium sapele timber, a dense and durable hardwood that delivers a rich, reddish-brown colour; a laser cut cycle motif was also added to the exterior to create a clearly identifiable space for parking.

Access controlled swing doors mean that the shelter offers easy yet secure access for cyclists, creating confidence that their property is safe in the shelter.
20 galvanised Semi Vertical Bike Racks and two Sheffield Stands were chosen for the site, providing a high volume of convenient storage.
Finally, a sedum roof was installed to provide a green area that promotes biodiversity.
Alongside the shelter, their team provided an E-Bike Charging Stand for the client, enabling e-bikers to securely park up and plug in.
Made in Britain with a 10-year manufacturing defects warranty, the site can be confident that these products have been built to last.
