Broxap were asked by Mildren Construction Ltd to produce a containment unit that featured a series of storage units for Bournemouth University.

The contractor need a quick turnaround solution to provide the Universities Facilities Management Team with multiple storage units that were in keeping with the surrounding University buildings.

The units needed to feature two security roller shutter doors to hold more expensive and large parts of equipment and the ability to be securely locked.

Broxap suggested a bespoke version of their ‘Blox’ shelter could easily answer all aspects of the problem providing a functional unit that could accommodate lockable swing gates as well as roller shutter doors.

The look was in keeping with the existing buildings, the timber clad effect giving a ‘natural’ and ‘pleasing to the eye’ look.

The solution was a cost effective solution for the Contractor that Broxap were easily able to design, manufacture and install within their tight timescale.

The result was well received by members of the facilities unit at the University who soon had the shelters stocked and operational for day to day operations on site.
