Booth Commercial launches innovative new range

Booth Commercial is launching a new range of sound reducing doors which combine certified performance with competitive prices and fast turnaround times.

This new ‘H’ range of acoustic doors uses enhancements to the BOOTH-FD fire door cores, which are automated line produced by their strategic partner German producer Teckentrup, one of Europe’s largest and fastest growing manufacturers of both custom-made performance, and high-volume commodity, steel doors.

The 'H' range will contain doors rated from 30 to 50dB with fire test certification to BS EN1634-1.

Barry Gregson, Product Manager of Booth Commercial said: “We have been working on Teckentrup’s basic door with The University of Salford and Exova Warringtonfire over the last few months, developing it to create an inexpensive sound reducing door. The advantage of essentially altering a door from Teckentrup is that we can take advantage of their automated assembly line to turn doors around extremely quickly, meeting very tight project deadlines.

"Our new sound reducing range will be highly price competitive and is guaranteed to arrive quickly and has all the necessary certifications. We plan to launch in April and expect it to make a significant contribution to the growth of our commercial door operation."

Booth Commercial is an operating arm of Booth Industries, one of the worlds leading producers of high integrity blast resistant, security, acoustic, fire and large access doors. The company, which is part of the Redhall Group Plc, was founded in 1837, and for many years has worked on multi-million pound contracts both in the UK around the world supplying steel doors and blast wall systems.
