Brewers are delighted to announce that they have been shortlisted for another financial wellbeing award – “Best Financial Wellbeing Strategy”. The event took place in London on 26th October 2023 at the Financial Wellbeing Forum 2023, organised by Wagestream, and the winners announced after a day of keynote speeches and breakout sessions.

Following the introduction of Wagestream to the company in 2022, some of the key initiatives introduced over the last 12 months, which led to us being shortlisted, include:

• The option for employees to access a proportion of wages when needed, reducing financial stress during emergencies.
• A company-funded healthcare plan to alleviate medical expense concerns.
• Free independent qualified financial advice.
• Rebranding of out Helping Hand loans.
• A savings scheme to give colleagues security and contingency.

Brewers' have already won an award this year for their financial strategy, scooping the Best Support of Financial Wellbeing Award at the Make a Difference Awards for 2023 in April. They were one of 16 winners from 260 entries at the Awards. The award was to recognise the steps the company have taken to support colleagues’ financial wellbeing.
