Britfab Ltd were asked to produce panels for this Taggart’s Group project, as part of new corporate branding, and after a fire in the existing showroom.
The new showroom was created by construction of an additional steel frame/built up system which was then clad with Large format Rainscreen panels to the façade. The bespoke Alucobond feature perimeter window surround and inset Entrance panelling was created using standard Champagne Metallic coloured sheets and the Main colour produced from corporate special colour Sunrise Silver Metallic.
Britfab Ltd were asked to produce panels in line with JLR’s corporate image. Some panels required were over 6000mm long and with Britfab’s CNC capability being over 8000mm this allowed panels to be easily produced without requirements to break module sizes down.
Britfab Ltd in partnership with R&N Facades Ltd were able to meet a phased delivery to suit the tight site conditions and demands of a short programme.
Panels were fabricated using Alucobond Plus material which is fully BBA certificated. These were constructed using Britfab ‘BF3’ type panels complete with support grid elements using vertical aluminium omega extrusions and Britfab’s Hilti support brackets.
