After completing a massive extension project in May of last year, British Ceramic Tile is now the largest and most important manufacturer and supplier of tiles in the United Kingdom. Using the most modern tile manufacturing equipment available and situated next to the world famous Devon ball clays in Newton Abbot, British Ceramic Tile is now flying the flag for British tile manufacture on a global scale.

British Ceramic Tile was proud to be the first ever British tile manufacturer to exhibit at Cevisama. The stand was ‘the talk of the show’ and received compliments from both customers and competitors alike, many of whom were impressed with British Ceramic Tile’s products and manufacturing processes and many unaware that there were tile manufacturers in the United Kingdom.

Over the course of the show, the British Ceramic Tile export team had meetings with 122 buyers from 42 different countries resulting in trading agreements, orders and follow up orders to export British Ceramic Tile products across the globe.

After a long period of construction and development of the Devon facility it is fantastic to see a British manufacturer now being recognized for manufacturing on the world stage. Cevisama 2010 provided an opportunity for new and existing customers to view British Ceramic Tile ranges, including selected ranges from its Tactile by Studio Conran, Laura Ashley and Wet by Hemingway Design collections.
