British Ceramic Tile was delighted to be involved again in supporting The Contemporary Craft Fair, in association with The Devon Guild of Craftsmen, at Bovey Tracey. It was held this year from 5th-7th June. This notable event in the South West is a celebration of the best of British crafts and is an inspirational mix of disciplines including award-winning ceramics, glass, jewellery, furniture, textiles and wood work.
British Ceramic Tile is passionate about encouraging the local community to become more involved in arts and ceramics and was therefore thrilled to support the Kids Craft tent at the fair and two major awards at the show; Best Maker in the South West and Best Stand.
Emily Nixon was the recipient of the British Ceramic Tile Best Maker in the South West Award. The Best Maker Award recognises excellence in craftmanship. It was Emilys stunning collection of jewellery which caught the attention of the Fairs judges this year.
British Ceramic Tile also sponsored the Best Stand Award this was given to contemporary jewellery designer, Cindy Ashbridge who was delighted with this recognition.
