The brand-new Rotherham Service Station, part of the Welcome Break Group, is a contemporary facility located at junction 33 along the busy M1 that provides a convenient stop for motorists.

As part of the £40 million project, Broxap's litter and recycling bins, cycle stands, and grit bins were installed to enhance offerings and promote responsible waste disposal.

A number of their Derby Triple Recycling Bins were chosen to differentiate between general waste, empty paper cups, and empty plastic cups, bottles, and cans. The bins feature clear signage in a traffic light colour scheme to help catch people’s attention. The bins and signage are constructed from durable, weather-resistant galvanised steel, and our Protex™ finish ensures longevity.

Their flagship Derby Standard Litter Bins were also manufactured and installed at hot points throughout the service station, including fuelling stations, electric vehicle charging points, and the main car park.

Durable Grit Bins have been installed around the premises to prepare for winter weather. Clearly marked and easily accessible, these bins contain enough grit for maintenance staff to ensure road safety during icy conditions.
