Broxap designed and manufactured a range of seating based on their street furniture range, for The Scallop Shell, an exclusive restaurant in Bath.
Both the owner and designer, Georgie Letters, wanted a creative seating solution to complement the restaurants rustic sea theme.
Broxap supplied seating to be used to create booths along both sides of the first floor extension. The seats were made using iroko hardwood timber and were based on their popular Pierhead Seat.
The iroko hardwood complemented the oak beams, wooden tables and wooden lampshades throughout the restaurant.
The frame of the benches were made with profile steel and coated in a black blue colour to match the sea theme. The booths can sit up to six people at a time.
Owner Gary Rosser told The Bath Echo that “There’s a great vibe about the upstairs area and we love all the design elements of the new restaurant which, as an extension to our seating numbers, will mean that customers’ wait time for tables is reduced.”
Broxap are well known for the design and manufacture of street furniture but can also provide cost effective solutions for both external and internal furniture requirements.
