Popplewell Springs consists of 51 one and two bed retirement apartments with extra care. The rented housing provides care services for people living with dementia or learning, physical and sensory disabilities. There are a range of facilities, including a restaurant, coffee shop and guest room, and the property is found within landscaped gardens, offering many opportunities for socialisation with other residents.

Broxap were invited by Bramall Construction Ltd to design, supply and install the signature entrance canopy for Popplewell Springs care home.

The initial concept came from an architect which was detailed further by Broxap engineers from both the timber manufacturing workshop and the glazing specialists to produce a stylish canopy to complement the existing surroundings of the new building and Yorkshire countryside.

The warmth of the entrance canopy’s timber complements the brick of the property, adding a cosy and inviting feel to the overall exterior of the building.
