Canal Engineering at Rugby World Cup Paris

As the Rugby World Cup in Paris was approaching, Canal Engineering was chosen to fabricate a rugby ball shaped sculpture.

The structure was displayed in a prominent position, promoting the Rugby world cup. Moving images travelled around the ball, created by thousands of LEDS, for an eye catching effect. For practical maintenance, Canal designed a door into the structure to allow access to the inside.

Canal’s specialty is in bespoke metal work and are often produce many one off projects.
