Canal Engineering delivers a stunning helical staircase

Canal Engineering has created this smooth and joint-less curve helical staircase with an added soffit for a stylish property in London.

The staircase features timber treads that match the timber flooring throughout this four storey home.

The floating curved glass balustrade is 10mm glass in-fill panels with mild steel balusters. In addition connecting each panel at intervals, the balustrade supports the grey, hand stitched, leather clad, mild steel handrail.

The mild steel helical staircase has a powder coated finish in two shades of grey and a white soffit. The two shades produce a complimentary colour gradient for the leather handrail and surrounding walls in this London property.

A helical staircase design creates a striking dramatic entrance within and residential and commercial environment. The variety of materials available to complement a helical stair also creates an endless design possibility.

Every staircase Canal manufacture comply with BS5395: Part 2, 1984 (spiral and helical staircases) and Building Regulations: Approved Document K.
