The world famous Eden Project recently built 150m of canopy walkway stretching through the treetops in the Humid Biome, designed to take visitors on a journey of discovery. From paths set in the sheer cliff face, the Walkway stretches out through the steamy canopy, immersing visitors in the majesty, mystery and wonder of the forest.

The walkway is a timber and steel framed decked walkway, and Gripsure’s Contemporary anti slip decking board was chosen as the preferred timber. Using a two strip anti slip insert, the decking board was an ex 150 x 32mm Scandinavian Redwood, and Gripsure supplied all the boards trimmed to length under a very tight time frame.

A spokesperson for the Eden landscape team said "We have used Gripsure decking on a number of areas throughout the Eden Project over the last five years, both inside the biomes and externally.
