Cembrit is delighted to announce that two of its building boards have been tested and approved for use with Weber building materials. This collaborative approach provides contractors with complete solutions for internal tiling, and external render projects.

Cembrit’s Unipan tile backer board and PB render board are now compatible for use with Weber’s cement-based tile adhesive and the weberend MT system respectively. To achieve this, the Cembrit building boards completed a comprehensive testing process to ensure that the products are compatible and withstand the installation requirements.

Unipan is a versatile tile backing board which is ideally suited for internal ‘wet’ applications. Unipan is lightweight, tough, and stable, and offers a solid base for tiling through its excellent adhesion properties. Cembrit PB is a base board specifically designed for render systems. The board delivers impressive dimensional stability and low water absorption properties, to minimise expansion and contraction as a result of heat, cold and moisture.
