CEP Ceilings at UCEA Ellesmere Port Academy

This project merged the existing North and South campuses of University Church of England Academy (UCEA). The Academy was looking to create a centralized learning space for their students in order to emphasize their core values of equality, teamwork and responsibility.

The new academy was designed by architects BDP Manchester and as well as providing teaching space for 1,350 students from 11 years to 18 years, includes a media centre, theatre, and science labs, as well as outside performance spaces, sports pitches, and gardens.

The different areas of the academy have different needs to be met and main contractor Kier Construction and sub contractor Mark One Interiors used a range of ceiling and acoustic products including Sequence Ceiling Tiles and Planks from CEP Ceilings Ltd to create an optimum learning environment.

Supplied from the company’s manufacturing site in Stafford, CEP Ceilings supplied ceiling tiles from their Metroboard, Classcare, Healthcare and Cleancare ranges to ensure the best performance was achieved in throughout the Academy.
