CHAS accreditation confirmed

CHAS accreditation confirmed

Stannah Lifts Ltd, who design, manufacture and install passenger lifts and platform lifts have successfully gained CHAS accreditation. The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme recognises organisations who have clearly demonstrated, through their health and safety internal processes, that they comply with or exceed health and safety law.

The scheme assessed three aspects of Stannah Lifts Ltd:

  • The health and safety policy statement
  • The company’s organisation for employee health and safety
  • Specific health and safety arrangements to a standard acceptable to contractors.

CHAS accreditation enables Stannah Lifts Ltd to demonstrate health and safety competence and gives their customers the peace of mind that they are dealing with a company committed to working safely. It can also simplify the pre-qualification application for tenders and contracts which can save both parties time and money.
