CLD Fencing protect new HS2 National College

The next generation of world-class engineers to work on the construction of High Speed 2 (HS2) will benefit from a secure campus at the HS2 College Doncaster thanks to Fencing and Gates manufactured by CLD Fencing Systems. The systems were supplied and installed by CLD Approved Contractor Scheme member Davison Fencing.

The purpose built and designed college, will deliver the specialised training and qualifications needed for high speed rail. Designed by Bond Bryan Architects and built by Willmott Dixon Construction, the £21 million project incorporates over 7,600 square meters of teaching and workshop areas as well as 150m of external track and catenary.

When it came to the physical perimeter security for the college, there was only one choice. CLD Fencing Systems Dulok Double Wire System, encompasses the state of the art HS2 College Doncaster in an aesthetically pleasing permanent fencing line with added security from the Lockmaster range of Swing Gates.

Working on behalf of Willmott Dixon Construction, Davison Fencing (CLD Approved Contractor) supplied and installed CLDs Dulok Double Wire Rigid Mesh Fencing finished in a Polyester Powder Coating of RAL7043 with matching Lockmaster Swing Gates. The fencing and gate systems help to create a modern perimeter that matches and compliments the stunning design of the HS2 College Doncaster main building.

CLD Fencing Systems Sales Director; Russell Wells said:"Working with Davison Fencing on such a prestigious project like HS2 College Doncaster demonstrates the outstanding levels of quality and service we provide on a daily basis.” He continued:"For years to come, HS2 National College Doncaster will be a focal point in the north for the future of engineering and throughout all that CLDs Dulok Fencing System will offer safety and security for the thousands of students who will qualify through the college.”
