Type of works: supply and installation of Hamiltons Hartland CFX range of plates and sockets.
Decorative electrical wiring accessories and lighting controls manufacturer Hamilton Litestat has supplied a selection of its Hartland CFX range of plates and sockets to the former international headquarters of Coutts Bank, now the Isle of Mans newest luxury apartment complex.
Coutts House, which is located minutes away from the islands capital, Douglas, has been transformed into 16 exclusive homes by island-based Escape Properties. The building, which is on the site of an old mansion house and set in 1.7 acres of land, was purpose built for Coutts in the 1980s. Since acquiring it, Escape Properties has undertaken a sensitive conversion project to turn it into homes fit for the most discerning clients. The development includes a 1,800-plus square foot rooftop penthouse apartment, swimming pool and spa area, and a daytime concierge.
Hamiltons Hartland CFX range, which features classic yet contemporary plates with a patented concealed fixing system, was specified throughout the residential areas of the complex. Sockets, television points, media plates and shaving sockets in a flawless satin stainless-steel finish with contrasting Black inserts feature throughout the luxuriously designed apartments, the Silver and Black design complementing other items such as the widescreen televisions and kitchen appliances. The unique concealed fixing system helps emphasise the elegant look, with no visible screws interrupting the smooth plates.
Coutts House is a very high profile, luxury development for the Isle of Man and our Hartland CFX range fits well within this setting as its sleek and contemporary, yet has a classic, quality feel to it, said Lisa Brown, Hamiltons North Western Sales Representative. The plates, whether home to sockets, media points or shaving sockets, all coordinate with each other to provide unobtrusive fixings that contribute to the overall elegant feel of the rooms. They are also incredibly hardwearing and will maintain their smooth finishes for a long time.
Our main focus when specifying the interior fittings for Coutts House was to ensure quality and attention to detail at every turn, added Jan Tinsley, Director of Escape Properties. We wanted to acknowledge the prestigious history of the building but at the same time add contemporary styling to appeal to todays luxury property owner. We appreciated the design-led, quality feel that the Hartland CFX plates provided and were very pleased with the way they blend seamlessly into the interior schemes.
The electrical wiring accessories order for Coutts House was supplied via the Douglas branch of Walsall Conduits Ltd.
