The Trioscape Garden Centre near Newent in Gloucestershire traces its origins back to 1994 when the partners of Trioscape Landscaping (Richard Mitchell, Douglas Wilson and Ronan Lynch) bought the site at Highleadon as a run down business with dilapidated buildings. Eighteen years of growth and development later and after the recent £1.5 million revamp, the garden centre and nurseries now cover 16 acres including 3 acres of covered growing and retailing area plus a brand new restaurant, cafe and food hall offering local and regional food.

Architectural Technologist Angela Wadley of local company Total Design Ltd wanted the new building to be as environmentally friendly as possible and it features many energy saving products. The facades are a striking combination of brick and aluminium curtain walling giving an impression of lightness and modernity founded in solid rural roots. Angela choose Axis Automatic Entrance Systems of Northampton to supply and install all the aluminium glazing and the tilt and turn windows.
