The area at Ilford Jewish Primary School in which Setter Play installed the outdoor play unit was just a colourful wet pour rubber surfacing area. The school wanted an interesting play unit to go here for the children to play on and enjoy during play time.
The school chose the Spiffy play unit, which was to include a platform with a slide and curved rock traverse panels built on to it. Each piece of rope and bar is brightly coloured along with the rock traverse panels and side panels up to the slide, making it very eye-catching and interesting for the children.
This play unit is perfect for smaller playground areas and for younger children as it is safe and not too high, but still challenges them. A playground like this is perfect for imaginative children as they can climb in any direction and make up games whilst playing.
By adding the slide and platform it gives the children a goal - to climb from one side to the other. This helps them gain upper body strength, while having fun. It is very important for younger children to exercise and have fun so having a playground like a Spiffy is perfect for energetic imaginative children.
