Customised electric releases by Clarke Instruments were specified by a return customer.

The customer required a brass finish for a prestigious client. Different lengths were required so each brass lead plate was made to measure.

The 960 range of electric releases was used as the base design for the customised product. With brass face plates and latch blocks instead of steel, the end result has a quality brass finish, which is aesthetically pleasing: ideal for historic buildings.

The 960, which withstands 7Kn of force, met the client’s criteria for robustness, reliability and longevity.

Clarke’s technical department were able to work closes with the Oxford based client to make certain each individual release was designed to match the requirements.
