Cyclepods provide a striking hub for the staff bike parking at Heathrow Airport as part of the Main Tunnel Refurb Project.

The decision for Heathrow Cycle Hub providing this shelter was the option favoured by the sustainable cycle team.

The Cycle Hub wanted to provide Heathrow’s staff with a secure and covered cycle storage solution, so opted for the 122 space, two tier system, in a bespoke opaque building with their specialist key fob entry, CCTV and security lighting.

Each person who wishes to use the system will have their own fob ensuring access is restricted to staff only. The CCTV and security lighting further dissolve any anxiety storing their bikes for both long or short periods of time in Europe's busiest airport.

Cyclepods also designed the advertising on the new shelter to match with the rest of Heathrow Airports Cycle Hub branding.
