Cyclepods provide bicycle parking for Brighton and Sussex Uni

Brighton and Sussex Uni had limited space with which to store bikes, so approached Cyclepods to produce an innovative solution.

They placed 60 Cyclepods throughout the new Northfield Campus providing 480 bicycles with secure and sustainable cycle parking. Each building was provided with 6 Cyclepods providing residents with 48 cycle parking spaces.

All their pods are made with recyclable material, meeting the University’s ecological requirements whilst providing tough and robust solution.

David Smith, Patience and Highmore Architects said “As a company specialising in Housing with a strong focus on sustainability, it can often be difficult to incorporate sufficient cycle storage to meet design guidance. Cyclepods products ideally tackle the issues of providing a stylish space saving solution that is also cost-effective and maintenance free!”
